Welcome to Automation Adventures!
This website discusses my adventures in the wonderful world of automation. This covers anything from working with Windows, setting up Linux, running MisterHouse to control X10 appliances, etc.
My name is Ronald Bruintjes, and I’m a programmer/analyst in Virginia, United States. I’ve been working with the 4GL language Progress for the last 20 years, and have experience with a number of other languages. I’m married, and we are the proud parents of a beautiful daughter.
I’m coding some stuff at GitHub. If you think those programs are useful, please let me know in the comments here or on GitHub.
A list of countries and states visited is found here.
